Mr. Emmanuel Niyongira is a livelihood expert with expertise in global value chain development, agri-food systems, inclusive agriculture finance, and Agriculture Policy analysis. Have extensive professional experience in managing, diagnosing and advising for the development, adoption and financing of novel technologies, innovative business models, market systems and policy frameworks that improve availability, affordability and safety of nutritious food that lead to incomes of actors engaged in livestock and crops for local, regional and export markets. Emmanuel also has hands-on command of Program management, Public Policy Analysis, Market and Operational Research, Impact fund management, Investment analysis, food safety systems and Program Evaluation; skills acquired throughout 16 years’ experience in various international development organizations involved in Design, Management, implementation and Evaluation of Agriculture, Food Security and Rural Development Programs. Emmanuel has a MSc. In agribusiness and is currently working for SNV Netherlands Development Organization as a senior Agribusiness Advisor for REALMS Project.
